We use soft and diffused lighting for passport photos, the same professional lighting equipment set up for our portrait sessions.

Soft lighting eliminates shadows in the background, which is one major reason for rejection of passport photos.

Proper lighting also contributes to smoother looking skin because there are no unnecessary shadows from one single direction.

We do not use "instant" cameras, instead, our state of the art Nikon digital camera and Nikkor lens will produce a portrait quality image that is unmatched by the "instant" type cameras.

Most passports are good for 10 years, if you are not satisfied with a "mug shot", it will be worth your efforts to come and visit us at Photo King.

German passport photos requires  contrasting backgound and specific head size, please allow 30-45 minutes for completion because we must 'custom measure' each persons face to fit the exact head size on the photo.
